South East Environment is a new newsletter produced by the South East Biodiversity and Conservation team from the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. It began as a locally-focussed digital newsletter about wildlife recovery along the NSW south east coast during and after the fires. It has now been extended to cover the southern highlands, the southern tablelands, the Monaro and the alps. The newsletter includes post-bushfire articles and updates from all their local teams including Ecosystems and Threatened Species, Water Floodplain and Coasts, Planning, and Compliance and Regulation. If you’d like to subscribe, have a look at the Winter Edition here.
