Come along to On the Perch on Saturday 16 September from 9am-11am to learn about and encounter some of the birds from our local area that are under threat. Hear about their habitat, some of the key threats and what we can do as landholders to assist. The day includes a short session on bird identification and the opportunity to stay on for a “meet the keeper” talk and explore the bird park.
Please note that this is a repeat of the workshop offered on 7 September for Threatened Species Day. Due to popular demand and some additional funding from the Office of Environment and Heritage’s Saving our Species program, the CMN and On the Perch are able to offer this second Woodland Birds Workshop to enable more landholders to attend.
Morning tea and daily entry included. Bookings essential with Ali Rodway at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0417 246 896. (I I am away until Monday 4 September so please leave a message and I will contact you then).
