Autumn Fox baiting with Feral Fighters

Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 2.00.28 pmFoxes are Australia’s number one introduced predator and threaten the survival of a wide range of native wildlife and many threatened species.

Non-flying mammals weighing between 35g and 5.5kg and ground-nesting birds are at greatest risk but foxes also prey upon reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Foxes have also been identified as a vector of weed species such as blackberry.

If you’d like to learn how to control foxes and be part of a coordinated baiting program with other landholders in your area, there is free training and support available with South East Local Land Services (LLS).

Read more about the program by clicking on the above flyer and register your interest with the Bega Office of South East LLS by calling 6491 7800. Courses will be run locally once sufficient numbers of landholders have registered.
